Re: CE's

Out of the 2dozen(?) ive done, Ive only held the liquid all 20 minutes at once a few times. Typically halfway through (with half the liquid taken in) I need to expel.I just go back and finish the liquid. This is very common. I try very hard to hold it all for 20 min but I dont feel like a failure or anything if I dont.

- As far as I understand back-to-back-CEs simply means doing one 2-cup CE, expelling it and then doing a second one. Or is there more to it? >>> "That's correct, 4 cups at one time, or 2 cups 'back to back'. I just happen to use 3 cups in my "back to back", but that's a personal choice"-uny

Generally, people don't get a 'caffeine buzz' - when they do, it's usually caused by 1) a solution that's too strong for them 2)retaining the solution too long 3) not expelling all the solution (which is usually caused be not releasing all the solution, which is usually caused by inserting the tubing too high). Or, in your case it *might* have been caused by the jets of water pushing the 'what was left after initial release' solution upward after the enema. (???) I find it sometimes takes 10-15 minutes (or longer) to evacuate all the solution.

My personal preference? I brew six cups of water with 7 Tablespoons of coffee and split it into two back to back enemas...I retain the solution until my liver decides it's "all done coffee enema". For me the 'sounds' subside greatly after 10/12 - 20 minutes, and so that's what I go by. When I can't do 2 back-to-backs, I use 4 cups of solution with 4 slightly heaping tablespoons of coffee. Sometimes I'm not comfortable with the entire 4 cups, but that's what I start with.

The majority of the time (for me), the second enema in a back-to-back situation doesn't seem as active - but there have been times when the second enema when was phenomenally 'active'. Also, when I remember, I sometimes preface my coffee enemas with 2 teaspoons of a liver tincture I make ( Dr. Schulze s) or a couple of tablespoons of ginger juice. I don't know if this enhances the effect of the Coffee-Enema or not, but I sure hear more sounds coming from the liver. (Note: it's possible that stimulating bile flow with herbs might actually interfere/alter the efficacy of the coffee enema itself OR it may enhance the effect - I don't know for sure either way, it just "feels right" to me some times, and so that's what I do).

'Hope that gives you some good info for consideration and answers your questions. It's not "rocket science", so don't be too worried about the particulars - the most important thing is just doing them! :)~uny
