Thinking about Mirena

I stumbled across this site looking up more information on Mirena. I was almost confinced that it would be the best idea for me untill o began reading some of the posts. Now I'm scarred to have to get one and by the way it sounds doctors aren't warning patients about all the possible side effects.

So I was just hopeing to get some insight into what some thought are on my situation. Currently I'm on the depo shot, but I've been having problems with it. I'm pretty sure it making my Depression worse, it's hard to tell but I noticed it's been worse since I've been back on the shot. It also caused some weight gain and has made me basicly a prud when it comes to anything sexual. Also mybdoctpr says it could be the reason my vaginal wall is extremly sencitve. Not to mention the last two shots have left theil injection site sore enough to make life difficult, last time for 2 weeks. All these reasons is why I was considering Mirena, but now it seems like Mirena has the same side effects and more.

I was just looking for some opions about what I should do. Stick with the depo and suck it up? Switch to Mirena and hope that I don't have the same problems as the depo and possibley more? Something I haven't considered? Although I can't do the pill cause I have a really bad memory, and can not afford to bring another life into this world.
