But what if one is truly persecuted, not imagined? I know of one who is very talented, very beautiful, with great kindness and vision - and persecuted by many for it. Is this reality created by this individual? I seems from my perspective that many who are ignorant, insecure, and envious respond in a very ugly way to this person. Is there a belief system at work that is responsible?
