Eyebright Testimonial and Comments

Took off 3 days, so with the Friday holiday and coming weekend, that's six days for a kidney cleanse w/ juice fast.

I ordered the Eyebright tincture and bought a glass eyecup.

After missing the first day and not wanting to waste precious time working up the dosage, I began with three (3) drops, moving to four (4) the next day. Maybe 5 tomorrow? We'll see.

This stung pretty badly with the eye open and moving around; and when exposed again to air there was a (different) burning sensation.

I did two (2) reps for each eye, morning, afternoon, and evening, drinking three (3) dropperfuls of tincture in an oz of juice each time.

The pain is not awful, it's just that the time comes when you can't easily keep the eye immersed.

Technique: At first I filled the eye cup, added the drops, held it firmly to one eye, separating lid and lower area between fingers, tilted the head and... the darn stuff flowed out over my face and onto my sweatshirt. But as it flowed out, it did bathe the eye enough that I was glad it spilled out lol. Then I did the other eye. Not a satisfactory method, thought I.

From then on I've just pressed the cup's rim to the eye, held open as noted above; and then tilted the cup up enough to fully immerse the eye so it can rotate or splash around for as long as I could stand it. This method allows two immersions per each eye, without spilling much fluid.

RESULTS? Directly after the eyebath, as soon as I can look around, things seem more clear and a bit brighter.

After four times, uses, I can swear that the smeary looking thing that crosses my field of gaze when I shift my eyes is either smaller or less blocking. And some floater things, or threads are less visible. These have been bugging me for a long time, despite the optometrist and eye doctor's testimony that they can't see anything and I don't have developing cataracts or retina damage.

My eyes also feel less fatigued, even though I've really been abusing them on the Intenet! I can see using this daily or frequently until I see if the abovementioned conditions clear up, and any time my eyes are overly stressed.

Something else: I purchased a high-quality Rebounder. Rebounding literature claims that this can have beneficial effects on the eyes, especially if you look through a window and focus alternately on near and far details. I suspect that if this is true, there may be a synergistic benefit from doing it with the Eyebright/Cayenne eye-wash. Will see.
