Re: My Daughter is going to Costa Rica
Thank you for your compassion - it has been a difficult time. However, when your heart is broken and your spirit is searching for answers, you are open to being taught some of the more difficult lessons of life.
When my son went to Africa, he was on the LB, LG, Kidney/Bladder and Red Clover Combination. He was also taking 4 Vitalerbs three times per day. When my daughters went on a humanitarian trip to Honduras, I added garlic to the regime to keep away mosquitoes and liquid chlorophil to strengthen their blood.
As far as a 1st Aid kit goes, I would just sit down and try to imagine all of the possibilities, then make sure they are equipped to handle them. For instance, if I wanted to make sure they had something on hand for topical infections, I might include collodial silver and/or X-ceptic. If I was concerned about them catching something while away, I might include Echinacea & Goldenseal capsules or the INF formula. I usually make sure they have activated charcoal in case of food poisoning. The list can get pretty long, so you have to decide how much space they have, what they know how to use and what possibilities you are trying to cover. It also depends on how remote the area is they are going to be in. If they are going to be near medical help, then you know they will be taken care of if they get in an accident, break a bone or have some other type of emergency. If they are going somewhere more remote in a 3rd world country, then medical help might not be close by and you will need to make sure they have more supplies.
Hope this helps.
