My Daughter is going to Costa Rica

Hi Sandra,

I'm sorry to hear of your loss. I hope the spirit is comforting you during this time.

I really enjoyed learning from you during my Master Herbalist certification seminar. I was especially intrigued about the information you gave concerning your son going to Africa, and not getting vaccinations.

My daughter has just been accepted to go on a student expedition to Costa Rica. The information packet suggests several vaccinations, including Typhoid, which she does not have and which we would like to avoid. The vaccinations are not mandatory, thank God, and so we are pursuing herbal methods.

She is pretty healthy currently and enjoys a mostly vegetarian diet. We're working on improving that. I have her started on taking 2 Vitalerbs twice a day, and will start some of the cleansing herbs such as LB, Liver/gallbladder, and kidney soon.

What did you do for your son who went to Africa? What else would you recommend we do for her health safety? Other than the parasite syrup and drawing salve, what else would you recommend that I send with her for her trip?

I appreciate your help on this. I want to make sure she is protected from harmful stuff there.
