Does apple cider vinegar reduce iodine??? conflicting info

High on Water posted 2/16/10

If Iodine is taken with food, it will turn into iodide, before it even gets into the bloodstream. It's why you do not want to consume anything with vitamin C, or selenium, or ACV, within an hour or two of taking iodiNe.

I responded "No ACV with Lugol's???" in the subject line. Not only did no one dispute this but it was suggested (& the posting was "R") that I put Lugol's in capsules.

my post - Jarvis recommended Lugol's with ACV. I know that was 50 years ago & maybe he didn't know some things but yikes Lugol's with plain water? I'm doing Lugol's 2% and 100+mg of that is nasty in plain water. It's not apparent with ACV. Do I need to just suck it up??
