Re: Can digestive enzymes (pancreatin) serve like systemic enzyme in the body?

I have pancreatic digestive enzymes from Jarrow Formulas with:

50.000 USP Units Protease
50.000 USP Units Amylase
10.000 USP Units Lipase

If I take it with food they will digest the food that is clear.

But my question is if I take in on an empty stomach with lots of water can they still serve like an enzymes in blood flow when they being absorbed?
Do they have the same enzymatic function or I can use them only when I eat food?

Proteolytic enzymes are frequently taken without food to help reduce inflammation and to break down allergens and scar tissue. If taken with food they get are utilized in the digestion of the food and will not work for these other purposes.
