Were they roses? I find it incredibly difficult to believe that silica would cause flowers to die. Roses can be gorgeous and fresh on the day they were cut and be dying the next. I find them very delicate flowers in that regard, once cut.

But you cannot rely on the longevity of all delivered flowers. Unless you know how recently they were cut, you have no sense for how fresh they are.

If DE (I assume) caused this I'll love to learn why. Hveragerthi is the greenhouse capital of Scotland, so H better represent some floral acumen.
