Re: Spine Problem

I have the problem of my hip forever going out. I have leg length discrepancy, and wear an orthoses. When the hip is out it accentuates this discrepancy.

The legs will actually be th same length. The problem is that the hips tilt making one leg appear shorter than the other. If you have someone get down on their knees in front of you while you are standing and they place their fingers on the top of both of the top of your hip bones they will be able to see which side is high. If you then push deep on the inside of that bone, especially towards the back-inside of the bone you should feel a tight and probably sore muscle. This will be the muscle that is contracting too tight and pulling that hip up. Deep massage that muscle frequently to get it to relax and that will help lower the hip.

My massage therapist corrects it and so does the chiro, but it seems to come straight back out of alignment as soon as i do anything.

Yes, because the muscles and tendons are still contracted. Again loosen the high side.

So your answer to this poster was of great interest to me.

So what is the joint and bone formula Hv?
