I've moved this post/thread up to the top from here: http://curezone.com/forums/am.asp?i=1587668 because other than the suggestions I have for this man (below), we're getting into a typical situation (that needs to be identified & addressed). And this isn't only a situation with Anne, it's a situation we'll all likely be dealing with for a very long time. And that's this:
1) --doing our best to help people "2nd hand-computer-phone" (which is what I call/consider helping someone over the internet-phone-forum when we can't see or know them face to face.
2) --doing our best to help someone totally blind (when we're not communicating with them directly in any way), but are trying to communicate with them through the communication of someone else that we're communicating with via '2nd hand-computer-phone'.
#1 is fraught with all kinds of problems & potential for harm. Everyone that's sick is stressed in some way or another (some are not even close to "their true selves" and many's neuro & hormonal chemistry is totally out of whack). Add to that any type of withdrawal scenario, mental issue, pain or adrenal distress...and even the best healer/patient can get into serious trouble with miscommunications and incorrect assumptions (even via telephone).
#2 Unless we're talking a parent/child situation (or a situation where the person we're helping is physically unable to type), this is basically a disaster waiting to happen....for about a zillion different reasons (just set your mind in motion and you'll be able to come up with quite a few). The two main issues (as I see them) are: A) Only one person is responsible for anyone's health - and that's THE person whose health it is! If that person is interested in healing themselves via natural methods, then that's the person that should be doing ALL the posting and researching (with your/our help, of course). B) Remember the "telephone game" (where someone whispers a sentence to you and you whisper to the person next to you, and so on down the line) - the end sentence was never even close to the original. And when it comes to matters of health (and already being in the "2nd hand computer-phone scenario), having the information filtered through one other person (with even the slightest error) can result in a major catastrophe.
Trust me on this folks, you do NOT want put yourself in that situation - I cannot beGIN to count the number of times 'someone A' has told me something about 'Someone B's health, and then when I talk to 'Someone B' about what the other has related, it is clear that 'Someone A' was not relating anything close to what was really happening...but it IS what 'Someone A' was sure was happening. And then 'Someone A' (based on what they were "sure" of), tells 'Someone B' what is wrong or what they should do or take...and it all turns out to be very confusing for 'Someone A'.
And yes, the opposite happens just as frequently. 'Someone B' reads what I write (or say on the phone), interprets it the way it makes sense to them, and then takes that new 'slightly off' version and tells 'Someone A' what "I" said. Then 'Someone B' runs it through their filters the way it makes sense to them, and the end result is TOTALLY different that my original meaning.
It doesn't matter HOW well-meaning and good-hearted all the people are, even allopathic doctors & practitioners know this is unsafe & unacceptable (and they aren't communicating TOTALLY blindfolded - they're always 'in person' with the friend or family member - and they will rarely even do that). Therefore, it's not going to be something I do on this forum...and I'm sure y'all understand.
In cases similar to this, there's always going to be times when you're seeking advice for someone else, and you just want enough foundational information to pass it along to a friend or a family member...basically to see if 'there is an answer', and if they're interested in natural healing at all. And that's totally sensible. BUT, if they ARE interested and you want ME to get involved, then you need to give them the forum URL and show them how to post (and of course, give them as much information as you have - as well as sharing your resources, bookmarks, CD's/DVDs, etc).
So, that all being said, I'm going to go ahead and reply as best I can to Anne's 'update', but from here on out this man needs to be communicating with me directly on the forum if he's interested in address his health issues naturally. Onward--
well we got to the hospital and he could barely walk and they done their best to get him in there quickly..
they took down some history and done a ct scan and xrays to see what was going on ..bloodwork came back fine no infection even though he said he was puking up green mucus and red tinged blood..and doc said his lungs were burning up... and that he was wheezing and since his chest was hurting that made sense .. Folks, are you "hearing" this? The bloodwork comes back negative for "infection" when someone is coughing up green mucous tinged with blood? This is why I keep saying we canNOT rely on these tests (and this is but one of the many reasons why 'modern medicine' IS the third leading cause of death in the USA). And that is NOT my 'guesstimate"; that's a fact they've admitted based on actual reality/numbers from 2000. Many authorities that modern medicine (since the massive death toll from a few pharmaceuticals) is now the leading cause of death...and that doesn't even begin to factor in permanent/partial disability. I'm glad the doctor in this case had some common sense.
well the verdict was he now has stones in both kidneys and an upper respitory infection and his asthma was flared up . I strongly suggest y'all get hard-copy copies of his tests & labwork into your possession (for many reasons, but when we've got "certified stones" and the docs say they can't be dissolved and then we dissolve them...and have the tests to prove they WERE there and then were NOT there? That's awesome documentation to have to show people for the rest of your life!
In fact (everybody), whenEVER you have ANY kind of a test done, GET A COPY RIGHT THEN. Many times they will charge you an arm & leg if you ask later (or worse, they'll tell you they won't give you copies).
they gave him a shot for pain (stronger than morphine) and phenergan for nausea cause he had already been throwing up ..
his insurance hasnt kicked in yet so its not likely he will get to see a doctor till then. They told him he couldn't come back without insurance to see a doctor? Or you mean see a private doctor/specialist? Btw, "insurance"? or VA benefits?
he had to have a breathing treatment and after all that he was feeling better but still in some pain but was bearable If he decides to start posting...where exactly IS the pain? and have him describe it fully (sharp, dull, 'hot', radiating, pinpoint, cramping, etc). Also have him share as much as he can of his 'history' (past issues, treatments, surgeries, transpant, family history, etc).
anyways they let him go but gave him another pain shot with phenergan to do him ..and referred him to a urologist okay
gave him some scripts for albuteral for asthma attack and percocet 5/325 for pain and sent him on his way...so he is ok for now but he is gonna have to to get something done about the kidney stones....
>>>from below<<< ---I took him to get his scripts filled and he asked how much it would be cause he didnt have much money and they told him that they would have to run it through the system first..anyways he was just gonna get his pain meds cause the albuterol was 40 bucks and he couldnt afford it...do you know they wouldnt let him do that!!! take one and not the other!!!!and they wouldnt let him have the scriipt back either !! anyways that wasnt a good confrontation ..that is not right but that is now walgreens policy ..since I havent been there to get anything filled in a long time I had no idea ..but if I ever do need to fill anything I will not go there...--- So, did he get his meds (which ones?) or not? I have never heard of anything like this happening (and it's absolutely outrageous). How does a pharmacy have the right to dictate which drugs they will dispense and which they won't? The doctor already gave the order for ALL the drugs on the 'script. It's none of their business if you don't want to fill them all 'right now'. I likely would have raised the roof...I would have definitely had the pharmacy call the ER doc (or I would have). I realize it was probably the middle of the night, but that's just crazy-insane.
for some reason his body keeps on making em ..what causes that Uny? is it just how he is hardwired ? he eats a healthy diet except occasionally he cheats..he eats lots of salads and fruits ,he doesnt drink, but does smoke There are many factors, and heredity does play a part (but that can typically be overcome, but in this severe of a case I'm sure it's safe to say it's going to take a lot of work and solid consistent effort). Of course, nothing is a bad as daily dialysis and/or shortening of life. Yes, it appears that recent studies reveal nictotine is a factor (from here: http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/61882.php)
Recent epidemiologic studies demonstrate that cigarette smoking increases the risk for progressive chronic kidney disease, but the role of smoking in primary renal diseases is less known. The results of this research, coupled with earlier findings, reveal previously unrecognized mechanisms showing nicotine - a component of cigarette smoke - as an agent that may accelerate and promote the progression of chronic kidney disease.
he is trying to take care of himself as far as eating right good for him. Of course, most folks have no idea what a good diet really consists of :::sigh:::..I do think he still eats meat though and that can be bad for the kidneys (too much protein) Yes, too much meat affects everything adversely, but meat protein (it's the acid) is definitely a known cause of kidney stones.
I took him to a good hospital at least great! (well, assuming there is such a thing as a "good" hospital :::sigh:::)...the local one around here accused him of coming there only for pain meds and told him he didnt have kidney stones at all the last time he went back!!! That may have something to do with why he couldn't get only the pain meds (???) If they've somehow entered him into a computer somewhere as a 'drug seeker', that may have had something to do with why Walgreen's wouldn't dispense the pain meds without the albuterol (???). That still isn't right, but it might have had something to do with it. they pissed me off so much it isnt funny anyways..I dont have a good record with them at all..anyways I wont go into a rant about that cause the stories I could tell bout them would take all night...at least he finally got something done .. we finally made it back home at 6am this morning and they just slept on the couch for a while ..y'all must be exhausted :(
I took him to get his scripts filled and he asked how much it would be cause he didnt have much money and they told him that they would have to run it through the system first..anyways he was just gonna get his pain meds cause the albuterol was 40 bucks and he couldnt afford it...do you know they wouldnt let him do that!!! take one and not the other!!!!and they wouldnt let him have the scriipt back either !! anyways that wasnt a good confrontation ..that is not right but that is now walgreens policy ..since I havent been there to get anything filled in a long time I had no idea ..but if I ever do need to fill anything I will not go there...as above, that's just ridiculous :(
well I may be ordering some of the kidney tea then soon for him..right now they owe me $150 bucks as it is and I kinda need it so I can order some more stuff for him..
ps..he has had 10 lipotripsy surgeries in the year of 08-09
I think I spelled that right ..dont know if I mentioned that before It's lithotripsy, but I knew what you meant. ten is a LOT.
ok Uny ok Anne ::grin:: At this point, knowing what little I know - here's what I suggest (but I don't suggest any of it until he understand the herbs and what HE is doing). He should definitely read the Kidney sections in the SYL manual (you have that, right?).
10 day Kidney Cleanse (that's 2 five day cleanses, done back to back)....with the Kidney Stone cleanse that's on it's way on days 4,5,6 of the full 10 day cleanse. He will likely need to do this 10 day routine several times....and at least 4x yearly for 'maintenance'. Parsley tea - several cups daily (and as before - foot reflexology; castor oil packs on kidneys nightly; activated charcoal packs daily). Also mild hot/cold therapy several times daily to increase circulation throughout the kidneys - but go "light" until he starts seeing some results from the Kidney herbs/protocol.
Lobelia tincture works just as good as the Albuterol for almost everyone - even better if y'all could get a nebulizer.
Lung Bronchial tincture 3-4 droppersful, 4x daily.
Cayenne for circulation and pain relief. CE's for pain relief.
If he doesn't think he's in danger of rejection from the transplanted kidney, then garlic for that infection.
well I wanted to update Thanks for the update - it's good to hear he didn't have a gastro-intestinal bleeding issue. Check your PM inbox.
thanks for the prayers You're welcome - 'sounds like you did as good as you possibly could have.
hugs Blessings, Uny
