Questions on dissolving gallstones to Telman

I'd like your input on my reasoning on this. Correct me if I'm wrong...

In cholesterol gallstone patients, typically there is too much cholesterol in the bile and not enough bile salts and/or phospholipids in the bile (phospholipids being the active ingredients of lecithin, correct?).

Treatment in vivo with bile salts typically partly dissolves cholesterol stones but is moderately effective and can have side effects. The 2 most common bile acids prescribed for this purpose are ursodeoxycholic acid and chenodeoxycholic acid. While somewhat effective, they both have unwanted side effects, especially the latter.

Looking at other bile salts to dissolve CGS, they all seem ineffective or come with sides. I thought I was onto something with taurocholate + lecithin, which showed promising results on CGS in vitro in one study (citation available on request) but, in vivo, taurocholate supposedly breaks down to the toxic deoxycholate.

Still, I can't help to think that taking bile acids such as http://www.iherb.com/Jarrow-Formulas-Bile-Acid-Factors-333-mg-90-Capsules/172...
or ox bile would help, based on studies I have seen. But it's always the problem with side effects... What do you think about using bile salts to at least partially dissolve CGS?

Lecithin by itself seems to have some desirable effects on CGS patients' bile. Taking 200-5000mg (wild guesstimate) a day should conceivably partly dissolve CGS, from what I gather (one citation available on request). But lecithin would probably be more effective with bile salts.

Then there are many other stone-dissolving agents, some of which I've posted about lately and there are more.

I'm trying to put together a protocol for myself for partly or completely dissolving the stones I have, and I guess what I'm trying to ask is your opinion on including bile salts in the mix or if the side effects are too undesirable. Based on what you know, what do you think? Would you take any bile salts/acids if you had a real hard time doing LF's?

I'd appreciate your input
