Re: + herbs & organ transplants Re: questions? help for someone with kidney stones/pain..UNY

When assisting someone that's had an organ transplant, we must be EXTREMELY careful.  As you likely know, people that have had organ transplants have to be on drugs that suppress their immune system for the rest of their life (to help prevent the body rejecting the organ).  Hence, any herb/substance that increases the action of the immune system, or any herb/substance that lowers the blood level of the drugs must be totally avoided.  The ones that come immediately to mind are echinacea (lowers blood levels of the drugs AND increases the immune action),  astragulus, pau d'arco, certain mushroom, possibly garlic...and bentonite clay & activated charcoal.  So any time we offer advice (or herbs) to someone with an organ transplant, this is always at the TOP of the list of considerations. ok he is through with the immune suppressing drugs ..he only had to take em for a couple of years ..been done with em since august of last year...so does that mean he can take the ech/ben/charcoal or anything else? he says he is good to go .. apparently he is having spasms cause he said the doctor put him on somas(muscle relaxer) one time and they helped him more than anything ...he gets pain so bad he shakes all over and becomes very irratable.. I didn't know that any transplant patient could be totally out of risk of rejection.  I still wouldn't use Echinacea without a doctor's okay, and I'd want to ask about the garlic & the colloidal silver.  If he's not on drugs, then the bentonite/charcoal should be any cause for concern.

He's having spasms because he's been taking muscle relaxants? Or because he doesn't have any more of them? dealing with withdrawal? or because of kidney stones/pain or some other identified/unidentified issue?   Dr. Schulze says ice-packs are very effective for pain relief (but they tighten up muscles, so be careful there).  Also, Epsom Salts baths are sometimes incredible for relaxing muscles and relieving spasms.

AND - coffee enemas were discovered because of how effectively they relieve pain!!!  Have him check it out   http://tinyurl.com/ylxat9d

of course, and likely he has major electrolyte imbalances, too.  In fact, here's a list of common symptoms for various stages of kidney compromise (compiled from various sources): yep no doubt..I am gonna go ahead and give him a gallon of distilled water that I have on hand and am going to the store to get him some parsley and some lemons to get him started ...great!

2) Castor Oil packs on his kidneys all day long     ok ..but he will have to use mine cause the herb store we had around here shut down ..unless I order it or go 35 miles up the road to knoxville ...do whatever you can do :)

3) Activated charcoal poultices on his kidneys all night long ACTIVATED CHARCOAL POULTICE..

ok.. well I do have that...and he said he would do anything as long as its legal....WOOHOO!  And get that coffee to brewing!  CE's are not only legal, but I just know there's not a Marine on the planet that would be afraid to do them (or anything else)...so show him all the info in that search above, and...bottoms up!

Anne, I'm not a doctor and I don't know all the issues surrounding transplanted kidneys.  I know that Kidney Stone formula definitely dissolves stones (and I can't find anything that would indicate he shouldn't use it), but you/him need to check that out to make sure.  You know I'd send him a bag of it and he could pay me "whenever"...but it wouldn't likely get there 'till Tuesday, even if we sent it tomorrow...and that doesn't give him any help now.  Perhaps (if the money can be scraped together), you could find the herbs close by (???)  All three are essential (the marshmallow root provides the mucilage to make it soothing to pass the stones - so maybe if you could only get the marshmallow root, that would help with the pain and passing of the stones).

gonna get him the kidney flush/calcium flush today from you ... he said he will pay me back later ..so yay!  That should help a LOT.  Be sure to read the instructions through several times as sometimes folks get confused.  You put 1/2 the herbs in one quart of apple juice, and the other 1/2 of the herbs in another quart of apple juice.  Cook them separately (boil then simmer), but only strain the herbs out of ONE quart (leave the other to sit with the herbs in it and shake it several times during the day).  Then follow the dosage instructions 'to the letter'...and be SURE he gets plenty of pure water!!

I'm off to bed ::::rolls eyes - yes I have my days n' nights totally confused:::

Blessings aplenty -
