New Problems AFTER Removal

HI Everyone - I credit this site with my decision to remove my IUD last April, and now I'm back because I wanted to see if any of the women who have had their IUD removed found that they were suffering from chronic Vaginosis (sp?) and abnormal pap smears? Ever since this thing came out of me, I've been having vaginal problems, and and my OBGYN seems to be mainly interested in doing colposcopy after colposcopy, but not really anything pro-active. Has anyone else had this issue?
