Go over to the yahoo Iodine group run by Stephanie Buist. She is a patient of Dr. Brownstein as well as a friend. She has his ear. Her kids are patients of his too. She also has hypo children due to her thyroid cancer issues while pregnant. She has them all on iodoral and dessicated thyroid meds. I have heard that beginning Iodine supplement can raise the TSH initially and that it settles down eventually.
