Trapper is not more righteous than anyone else, and I think that's what the problem boils down too here. Christianity is about one man being righteous, and that is the Lord Jesus Christ. We are righteous as christians, but it is only because Jesus has given us His life in exchange of our own, and He now lives through us. Apart from Him, we have no righteousness, and in Him, we are all the same. Now one christian may outwardly appear to be more righteous than another, but that doesn't matter. In each child, God begins a work, and He will complete that work to perfection. It is all about His grace for us, it is all about His glory. I would like to post some scriptures here to back what I'm saying, but for the sake of time right now, I'm not going too. Maybe I'll come back with some in a little bit.
