Re: protozoa protocol (amendment)

I tested clear of Dientamoeba fragilis after this protocol and I never had that type of intermittent diarrhia (and evil smelling gas) again and that was 5 years ago. In fact it sounds strange to say but I have the feeling now that I could eat "off" food and not get an upset stomach. I always used to think that I was being food poisoned by restaurants etc. Not so.

But taking the drugs came at a price. I got constipation instead. I can't explain this. In some respect constipation has been almost worse to live with than diarrhia. At one point I was doing daily enemas for a year! Terrible thing to do, as my peristaltic movements decreased. I tried taking probiotics with minimal success (everything from Threelac to sauercraut). I was always worried that the lack of success with probiotics meant that I could be feeding a parasite that had been unidentified (perfectly possible)

The lab I used for testing 5 years ago was called Parascope and was part of the Leeds Teaching Hospital, England. I see it has been closed down now (no idea why?) I tried to find out but had no success.

I use Oxypowder which is a solution (temporary I hope) and I have started to drink Kefir with some success (more than any other probiotic I have tried) so that is good news...
I also do annual herbal parasite cleanses as a maintenance programme.
