Misc. Questions for Chrisb1 and others.
1. It is said that the deeper we go into a fast the more effectively the body cleanses and heals, ie: there is more cleansing and healing in day 11 than in day 10. Is this indeed true and can you point to literature that substantiates this? Also, what are the specific reasons behind it?
2. The mouth is said to be an organ of elimination in a fast, evidenced by the coated tongue. Is there any gaseous elimination, or must this be wiped/brushed/rinsed out for the benefits to come to fruition?
3. When there is burping and er... farting, is there elimination of toxins through these actions, gaseously?
4. In a bath, does the body drink in any toxins from the water, or if it "drinks", does it filter only the good in the water? If it filters, would it even filter out the inorganic minerals?
4 part 2. Would the body drink in the magnesium from an
Epsom Salts bath (from magnesium sulfate) and if so, is that a way to perhaps benefit my damaged heart?
5. Somewhat along these lines, i know to forego taking anything by mouth in a fast, but as a way around this might there be any benefit to taking coq10, magnesium, and/or magnesium ascorbate through the back entrance?
6. Intramax: I have heard you say that vitamins/minerals should be taken with food lest the body believe it is being inundated and excrete more than is taken in. On the intramax bottle, it says "best taken on an empty stomach". Is intramax somehow different, or is this instruction on the bottle wrong?
Thank you in advance for indulging me :).
