That might be because some might view life as "smarts contest", instead of a "sharing and helping" contest. It could be ole Dr. M has someone else admining and that person is just doing as they're told.

Woe to anyone not bearing a degree in a science, who puts truth in front of one with such a degree. It's like Copernicus taking on the church - which in its egocentric mindset wanted ever so badly to believe that the earth was the middle of all the attention.
