Re: Abandoning Pets: A Form of Violence

You are a person after my own heart.  Our furkids are an integral part of our family.  Our two newest "found" dogs, Buddy and Rascal, were picked up at a roadside picnic area.  They now have a loving home and are blessing our lives.  But what happens to the dogs that are not picked up?  The article mentions starvation and dehydration, but close to a busy highway, there is the high risk being run over.  Yep, we have become an uncaring throw-away society.  If it's not convenient, just throw it away.

My Best,

Luella
