I am confused about what to eat to lose weight in spite of my thyroid issues. Honestly, I've tried everything. Creating a calorie deficit does nothing, exercising (free weights and cardio and hiking) does nothing. Before I fried my adrenals with herbal ephedra I weighed 18 lbs less. I stopped taking them last year and have gained, gained, gained.
Am going to do a liver cleanse next week and am off of Iodine until then. Just wanting to put things into perspective with food. I eat healthfully just apparently not getting the whole mind/body connection.
