Of course, again, you are entitled to your opinion, but like mine, yours is just that, an opinion.

IMO, when someone has a disease or illness, recognising what that illness is, (diagnosing), based on symptoms, and patient history, is a very important step in knowing how to treat the illness. When someone is ill, they have a health problem, but they are not their illness or disease.

Pointing the finger at them and calling mentally ill people crazy, is what some people choose to do, but to lump all psychologists together, and say that this is what they all do, or that they all go to conferences for some sort of religious experience, or that they are all crazy themselves, is just more ill thought out assumptions, and sterotyping of the people involved in this profession.

Just the same as all christians aren't fanatical, bible thumping bigots, but some are. Just as not all mainstream medical practitioners are evil, greedy, uncaring people, but some are. etc etc
