Yes! I did have joint pain. Actually, after an opthalmologist, a rheumatologist was one of the first specialists I saw when I really started having trouble with Mirena. I had horrible pain in my hands that would wake me up in the middle of the night and make it difficult to work during the day. Of course, blood tests never showed anything, and the pain pattern didn't follow that of arthritis.

This was all while I had Mirena in. I did have one relapse of joint pain around Christmas (6 months post removal) for about a week. I remember my hands hurting while eating Christmas dinner!
