In most cases the Nucleic Acid is what distinguishes one critter from the next.
This makes this both essential as well as toxic most times and in some cases it even gets integrated into our cells.
Certainly one can think of this as a miasm, as shown in Syph and Sycosis...

So if you have Nucleic Acid pieces lying around and the critter flares up the biggest hurdle in building blocks is all ready for them.

Where a Cerebral Malaria flare up would normally be mild and easily controlled it can kill you if a ton of Nucleic Acid pieces are left in the brain....never mind what this toxins do while just sitting there.
