Re: ringworm (tinea capitis)

Neem is a very safe herb that has antifungal, antiviral and Antibiotic properties. I stumbled across this wonderful herb a few years back when I had a mild cold that just would not seem to go away and wanted to settle in my throat. I had read about neem a while earlier and decided to give it a try. I started taking about 6 caps every 4 hours along with some reshi mushrooms to boost my immune system. Within a couple of days, the ache in my throat was gone and I was coughing up green phlem. By the 3 day, I was feeling much better (I had been feeling tired, run down and blach). Within a week, that virus was history.

When my daughter had ringworm, I tried gentian violet for about 3 weeks and that did nothing. Then I tried washing it with neem soap and then dabbing oregano oil on it and covering it with a bandage. I did this twice a day and with in a couple of days, the rash was clearly going away. I tried neem oil on the rash and my daughter couldn't stand the smell (it is vile), even though the rash was on her shoulder blade.
