I have tried ALA alone without any other chelating agents for about three weeks, but I did not have any positive experience.

In fact, I am beginning to suspect that, as Haley pointed out, the net effect of excessive dose of ALA could be oxidative.

But I am not mercury toxic at the moment. Perhaps, if I were more mercury toxic, I would most likely have different experience.

Right now, I am wondering whether cilantro is a better choice for chelation of the brain mercury.
