The previous poster seems to be saying that there is no such thing as pain management, or that it is never used in circumcisions. S/he also seems to be saying that it's irrelevant if boys are subjected to needless shame, ridicule and embarrassment by peers, and destroyed self esteem because they are being forced to keep the lockerroom spectacle of an unwanted foreskin.
So what is it again that is "lost" to circumcision? Smegma. Hypersensitivity/pain. Premature ejaculation. Lack of pleasure for both the male and his partner while the penis is literally fornicating itself inside its foreskin. And at least a dozen other great things I am so-o-o glad to be rid of.
