I can't stand taking the oil and have tried a few different types. The last time I flushed, I used heavy cream. I know many say to stay away from dairy but if this helps me do the flush, I'll stick with it. I actually use a pint of organic heavy cream and add an egg, some nutmeg and a pinch of stevia. Then I mix it up and it's really good. I had my most successful flush doing this (don't think it was the cream per se but it didn't impede the flush).
Another time I did a morning flush with oil and by dinner time I really wanted to eat so I had some pizza (not the best choice, I know) and proceeded to flush out a whole bunch of stagnant bile within a half-hour of eating. I think a high fat meal could make you flush but you would have to eat a lot of food.
