I have cause to review that day often - wondering if I would have given the same answer to an adult. I believe that deep down in everyone is the fundamental concept of God, whether one has heard of God or not. And what a pure concept it must be for the as yet unfound people of the world - those with no axe to grind, no one to convince, no confusion, no question. I am sure that deep in a forest somewhere are folks untouched by census and worldly misery who could tell us a virgin truth about it all.
