Re: Exercise ball stretching

Abdominal exercises with stability ball
http://www.ehow.com/video_2350873_stability-ball-ab-exercises-basic.html

I have been doing core strengthening exercises with a medicine ball as well.

My abdomen on the right side has been compacted for years now, so I have been taking extra care to stretch that side out as much as possible. My muscles on my back and abdomen on the right side initially felt like rubber bands, they would twist around and felt weak. They have been getting stronger, coordination has been increasing and my posture continues to improve.

Another thing I have been doing is taking a 10lb barbell in each hand and putting them behind my butt, while standing. This has helped to bring my shoulders back so that I am not scrunched over as much.

You can do it! It may start off being painful, but eventually it will pay off. I have gone 3 weeks without the typical scoliosis back pain lump on the right sside of my back. I try to mimic a cat by stretching my arms out every time I get a chance.
