Re: Vitamin D and brain lesions
That Bacteriality site is where I got the brain lesion link too, talking about Marshall.
There's alot of reading in other links on that page.
I'm still pondering this paragraph in your link:
>>There are several forms of vitamin D. The form of vitamin D we get from food, diet, supplements and sun exposure is called D3. D3 is converted by the liver into 25-D, which functions as a steroid. 1,25-D, the activated form of vitamin D, functions as both a steroid and a hormone. It is produced inside various types of cells, including those of the immune system and the kidneys, as well as in response to sunlight.[3] In healthy individuals, the kidneys continually convert 25-D into its active form, 1,25-D.[4]>>
So..if a person's liver and kidneys are a problem to begin with, what comes first- the L-form causing the Receptor site problems, or the organs not being able to do their job to convert it? If a person isn't even taking supplements, or eating dairy, even small amounts of D will be a problem with sick liver and kidneys. (?)
