Re: The Warburg Effect

If you are seriously interested in helping others you may find this link below

ROTFLMAO!!!! More bogus garbage. Just goes to show that some people will believe anything as long as it flies in the face of reality.

I am not going to address all the errors in that link. But the fact that they advocate saliva pH testing as a means of determining body pH is solid evidence that they are clueless!!! To begin with the pH varies throughout the body. But of more importance is the fact that the salivary pH has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the pH inside the body. Something as simple as how much saliva is present can greatly alter the pH. This is because the saliva helps to adjust the pH of the mouth. People with dry mouth syndrome, such as from Sjorgen's syndrome or methamphetamine use leads to tooth decay due to the lack of saliva, which helps to remove acids from the mouth. This is why gum helps to prevent cavities even if it has sugar in it. The gum stimulates the release of saliva. The pH of your saliva is also affected by other factors such as what you just ate or drank or whether or not you just brushed your teeth. In short salivary pH is a complete joke and is only promoted by people who have no real understanding of science or human anatomy and physiology.
