These are called 'Chalk Ink' Markers. They're non-toxic and write very fluidly. I love them. I make tea, potassium broth, whatever and then write on the jar what it is. I'd been writing on the tops of the jars in a sharpie but in the end, all things that cause more work later (like sourcing through what ball jar lid said 'iron tea' to put it back on that jar) is time wasted.
On the ball jar, the Chalk Ink marker writes beautifully. It also washes off with a sponge very easily.
Now - for to-do list help. Take a big piece of poster board that was super cheap ($.50) and cut it into four pieces. Take it to Kinko's and have them laminate the four pieces (a few dollars). Now you have one wipe-off list for your bedroom, one for your office, one in the kitchen and maybe one in the bathroom.
Mine is a spreadsheet of to-do's that was then laminated - but it doesn't matter.
Now, your Chalk Ink or Crayola markers (they work on all laminated surfaces) will work. You have a green, reusable and portable to-do list. Take one into do a coffee enema. If you need to remember to make something or do something afterward - that's 'still time' you can be making notes. You think, laying on your left side, 'shoot, I don't have anything to write on and I need to remember that' - this is a super simple solution. I have one in the kitchen, in front of my herbs. I write 'cayenne 2', meaning, I've gotten 2 doses down so far. Sometimes, I don't remember.
Chalk Ink markers write easily on mirrors too. If you need to write affirmations or whatevah - they'll come off later easily with a wet cloth.
