Would you go so far to say that god is infinite potential that gives rise to all experiences?

I know of the Mellon Thomas NDE and I think he would say that.
In his experience as one is assimilated into the light, all the beliefs peel away until one is left knowing that one is merged with all. In other words at that level of awareness you are god. The illusion of humanity is that you are separate.
