Yes; I can; For years I used a "spreadable" butter which contained 70 % butter and 30 % vegetable oil.
First it was soybean oil, later the company replaced it with rapeseed oil. I used a lot of this butter daily; maybe as much as 3-4 tablespoons; for cooking and on bread. In addition I took oils as supplement; one contained also some rapeseed oil.

I have never used glasses; but I started to have a blurry vision at times, especially at nights or in twilight. The eyes was also itchy and burning a lot; with a pressure underneath. I was almost on my way to the eye-doctor when I came over an article about an illness called scrapie (?) among sheep in the 1960-70 when the concentrated food here contained rapeseed oil. One of the symptoms was blindness. (When they discontinued the oil, scrapie almost disappeared.) At the same time I read about chinese women go blind because of their use of rape seed oil in cooking.

Well I put two and two together; quit the use of this butter, and the symptoms was gone in about 6 weeks.
I have later tested this on other people, and it has not failed to rid them of symptoms like this yet.
One of the women I weaned of rape seed oil had an incredible improvement just in 3-4 weeks; but she used this oil for wok-cooking, which is even worse.
I dont know if the other oils are just as bad, but I suspect most of them are.

After coconut oil came into my life I had no use for sunglasses anymore; I can now even look (almost)straight on to the sun when it is low. (sungazing)
