Re: My liver hurts after taking borage oil! help!

I spoke to my herbalist friend and she looked up her wholesale catalogue which says that the Borage seed oil supplied to her are free of pyrrolizidine alkaloids PAs. The commercially grown borage varieties have the seeds are natuarlly free of PAs even though they are found elsewhere in the plant. Samples are taken at the harvest time and independently checked by a laboratory in Germany. (I am in the UK)
