I am not a doctor but I assume it could. lead is not good. How where you tested for heavy metals. I had a hair test one time and it show very little mercury so for three years I thought mecury was not my problem. then by chance I did a urine chelation test and bam a huge amount of mecury showed up. the hurse said she has never seen it htis high. then I read andy cutlers book and he said the same thing about hair test and mercury. that they are not accurate because mercury causes impaired mineral transport so the mercury does not show up in some hair test. andy also said urine challenge test are not diagnostic because most people will show mercury in their urine if they take a chelating agent. however my levels literally blew the top out of the scale. so I would recomend doing a urine challenge test to test for mercury because it may not show up in a hair test. google andy cutler and you can read his stuff for free on the internet...
