Could garlic damage the ear drum?

Since putting a clove of garlic in my ear stops the itching ( parasites for sure), I was thinking of making this garlic olive oil thing, or garlic coconut oil thing, or just water with garlic and put a couple of drops in every night. Could the garlic burn something inside and damage my hearing?
