Re: alternative methods are not strong enough.

I'm a good friend of a woman who has full blown AIDS and was treated for it for over a year by Bastyr University in Seattle - the first alternative medicine university in the country.  She was given supplements - no prescription medications, none, and she lost weight and her health deteriorated - until, she switched to allopathic medicine.  Since going the allopathic route with all their meds she has gained weight and lived a decent life after having been given only three years to live - and that was 14 years ago.

You need to keep in mind that AIDS is not a disease. It is a syndrome, which are a group of symptoms. So even common illnesses can lead to an AIDS diagnosis even in the absence of HIV infeciton. For example the diagnostics were changed years ago to include multiple bouts of pneumonia or chronic yeast infections. These can easily be addressed without the commonly prescribed immune suppressing drugs often given to AIDS patients. Apparently your friend was one of the lucky ones who did not receive these drugs.
