but to sum it up in slightly different words... I believe it is a combination of our chemical makeup being the lens for our mind and the other part is that NDE's fill in gaps of learning we need to learn in our lifetime. They are all very personal and most people never talk about them. I can't seem to stop... like a NDE Rainman...
I hope you follow the link. Let me know what you think from it... I also want to say that 10 people can see the same thing in everyday life and each one will see something different. I don't call what I see before my eyes as "The Truth" with a Big T but rather "my truth." Some people have written me and told me that what I have written makes sense to them while others believe I am deceived by the devil...and still others believe what happened to me was simply my dying brain having a reaction to its dying... What do you believe accounts for the wide range of perceptions that NDE Experiencers have?
I hope others chime in but most people are not as blabber mouthed about their NDE as I am. I try to be as honest as I can when I write about it still knowing that writing about it is not a very good medium for expressing soul. Look at the religious texts out there... Little twists of words from language to language can change a whole religion but the language of soul is impossible to translate into written words so all will comprehend what it means to everyone.
