I cured my own very painful, very restrictive Rotator Cuff and Shoulder problems, at home, without cost!
I don't know if this will work for anyone else, but it certainly has cured me of shoulder/rotator cuff pain. My wife is a believer because of how it took away my very nasty shoulder pain, so she is trying it also. In a short time, it has greatly improved the nerve pain that's in my wife's shoulder, that also runs down her arm into the back of her hand.
I couldn't reach my arms in either direction, either across my body, or out to the side without mind-numbing pain. It would freeze me, and I would have to wait about 20-30 seconds for the pain to subside. I also couldn't lift my 10 pound hand weights, and I was really limited, and so was my wife.
I figured that, if I could build up the muscles in my shoulders, I could reduce or eliminate my shoulder pain. There had to be a way to build up the muscles in my shoulders, without pain. I also suffer from Heart Failure. So, I had to find a way to build up my muscles without causing further damage to my heart, and without killing me.
I can now do push-ups, weight lifts and curls, and I have total shoulder and arm movement and flexibility without any discomfort at all. Plus..... I am close to 70 years old!
Here is what I did:
- I carefully picked up a 10 pound hand weight in my right hand.
- I tried to lift it several different ways, and all resulted in nasty pain.
- I bent my body forward at the waist, so I was looking straight down.
- I tried placing my elbow and upper arm into my gut, and then lifting the weight (curl) with my elbow and upper arm stuck into my gut. No pain!
- I lifted several times, all with no pain.
- I tried lifting with the other arm, and also was able to lift without pain.
Mind you, I am bent forward at the waist, facing down
- Thereafter, day by day, I slowly and gradually increased the number of lifts.
- It took quite a while for me to be able to lift without sticking my arm and elbow into my gut, but I was finally able to lift without pain.
- I currently am doing about 150 curls a day and 150 lifts, over my head, per day with two ten pound weights, one in each hand.
- I am also currently doing about 150 push-ups per day.
My wife started with 2 1/2 pound weights and has experienced a remarkable improvement in her arm function and a lessening of her nerve pain.
We had to start small and then very gradually increase weights, exercise and movement.
