She sent the extra Cayenne in case you want to make the Eyebright to Dr. Schulze's formula. Dr. Schulze used one full part of Cayenne in his formula. So if you want Dr. Schulze's formula you'd take the extra Cayenne she sent you and add ALL of it into the bottle of Eyebright.

She must have used peppers that were up to 300 HU. But after being extracted with the vodka the heat has dropped down quite a bit. One drop on my tongue isn't that hot. So I believe you might be able to put the whole bottle in. I think I read that the new formula doesn't have any cayenne in it though. So When the bottle goes down a little I will add the cayenne.
