Re: Help, please - anyone with experience with Pawpaw?
Please look into the Budwig Diet if it's not too late. About 5 years ago, I noticed I had flat stools because of a colorectal tumor. The impaction got so bad I could simply not have a bowel movement unless i had diarrhea.
After much reading, I decided to go without traditional therapy and try Budwig. Though I'd obviously have to have surgery if the tumor didn't shrink (and it was supposed to get worse before it got better).
The tumor did shrink enough to have normal bowel movements again and I've lived a perfectly healthy life for the last 5 years - working full time, playing tennis, racquetball etc. And I'm also 54.
Study after study have confirmed the benefits of flax seed oil to the colon. And I can tell every morning I take the budwig mix, it's like a wonderful salve has been placed on the area in question.
I'm not cured, as the tumor is still there (though smaller than when I started). But I haven't done the full Budwig protocol either. I don't conform to the diet and only eat the mix once in the morning instead of twice a day.
But my partial compliance has been enough to keep me going these years. I HAVE complied by going vegetarian, quitting alcohol, cutting down on sweets, etc - but I'm much more out of compliance than in compliance.
I know if I went the conventional medicine route, I would have had part/all of my colon removed immediately, tons of radiation, and would be going on year 5 of highly toxic body poisoning (chemo) if i were lucky. Most likely I wouldn't have made it three years and my twins would have lost their Dad when they were 13.
I don't mean to be preachy, but from what I've seen, colon cancer responds very well to Budwig. It's worth a try - no?
