I have made gallons of Colloidal Silver this way. I use SOTA instruments model and I even have a jar of this stuff I made 4 years ago still in perfect suspension. It is still a light golden color with no trace of silver proteins dropping out of the solution.

One thing of note is that when i make it, I have the water on a slow boil as this produces a much better batch. A researcher with a B of Sc told me about this method. Works like a charm.
