Chanting

There are many things to consider for using the voice for healing. I have found the best way is to use a vocal print to see what frequencies are out of balance. Then you chant those frequencies and you will lead your body/mind back into balance. To really amplify this you lay in a bathtub with water filled just beyond the ear level. This will amplify the effect. Of course you also want to place a healing intent into the mix and you are good to go.

Some great reading is by Jonothan Goldman.

For just mood elevation, I have enjoyed Kirtan Chanting. There are many artists to choose from. I like Jai Uttal, Wah, and Krishna Das. I just treat all the dogma attached to the lyrics as mythology and go into the music. It really opens the heart space in an amazing way. It has to be experienced because for me to just say that it comes across like a new age pow wow, and it is really something to experience.

I love all kinds of music. I have even been known to chant along with wolves. I find their song to be very balancing.

Sky can talk more about vocal profiling and how that can work in your favor to identify the optimum tones to chant.

You can't go wrong with chanting. It is a very powerful practice.
