Re: n/m Systemic Candida
Hi, I read your post on systemic candida. A story. 5 years ago I took
Antibiotics for a strep throat infection which had me bleeding from the throat. Subsequently, the infection subsided, and I then grew a lump at the back of my throat. It continually got bigger, and I eventually began to feel horrible all over. I have been suffering with chronic fatigue ever since (with a redness at the back of my throat).
Recently, I began a "Candida Diet" and every single step that I have taken, from not eating
Sugar to lowering carbs to eating more green stuff, has left me with increased energy! Additionally, before I got on this diet, I found that when I ate vinegars, pasta, or drank beer, my symptoms would worsen.
I now believe (however no Dr.s have ever confirmed, nor could they diagnose my past fatigue problems) that I have a systemic Candida infection which was initiated by both a weakened immune system from the step throat bacteria and not taking probiotiotics after taking
Antibiotics .
I think that the candida, or some fugus infection has taken root in the throat area. Gargling antifungals and ingesting herbal antifungals have helped my symptoms. However, I belief that since I have had this infection for so long, I will need something that will get into the bloodstream and into the internal portions of my throat areas. Do you have any recommendations on which antifungals (naturals or pharmaceuticals), besides those previously cited in your post, might help with systemic candida? thanks for reading! -V
