Subconjunctival hemorrhage (red eye)

Has anyone had this happen? I had a blood vessel on the inner corner of both eyes burst yesterday and I look TERRIBLE... I have never had this before (and my ankles are STILL swollen as is abdomen). Has anyone ever had the eye symptom? I think my period must be really near (haven't had one since removal) since the swelling of the foot and abdomen are back. This eye thing is new and quite botehrsome cosmetically.
