Re: Discussing "Oneness"

The word 'individual' means one who is undivided. An 'individual' is not a conformist. Such a person needs no human freedom to be restored. One who is divided, fragmented, dissipating energy in a thousand and one directions will need to believe in oneness, in god, in some concept. The belief will help hold his many fragmented parts together. At least it will help in deceiving himself, and the others around him, into believing he is an individual.

Really knowing consciousness, then there really is no argument, and it really doesn't matter. The thing is that most do not know consciousness. Most are not individuals. And this allows for argumentation and conflict to take place. It is a needed thing in a dualistic world for transcendence of it to be a possiblity.
