I've experimented with different oil combinations lately...in the beginning the olive oil/grapefruit wasn't so bad (not good, but not really bad), over time it seemed to get worse. Now I can't even stand olive oil in food.
But, I started combining oils for my flush and that's helped. I don't know if you've tried some of these, but I use olive oil and flaxseed oil usually (ratio about 1:1). This last flush I added some coconut oil (heated a bit to melt it) and that was really good. I used grapefuit juice with a little lemon, and olive oil/flaxseed oil/coconut oil...it was almost a pina colado...sort of. I did less oil than 1/2 cup. It was 2 TBS olive oil, 2 TBS flaxseed oil, 1 TBS coconut oil. Went down very easy.
