Boycott isn't a bad idea. 

The key is to ignore government altogether.

I think we need to keep an eye on them but the problem is that people think they are entitled to things from the government.  They owe me nothing except for excess amounts of money they have taken from me.  I want nothing from my government except to get out of my way when I go.
